Assigned as Interim Chief Revenue Cycle Officer. Completely remodeled the Revenue Cycle. The broad span of work included Data and Metric Plan and Development; Redesign of Operations; Identified, Hired and Managed New Billing Team; Request for Proposal, Assessment and Implementation of Outsources Coding and Revenue Cycle Partners; Rebase and Reconciliation of State Medicaid Rate; Commercial Payor Contract Negotiations.

Thought partner and strategist engaged to build a Revenue Cycle Strategy allowing for organizational integration, scale, and innovative payment models tailored to the unique needs of individual clients. Help with the design of the strategy as well as the documentation for current, short term and long term execution.

Client: Large Rural Fire Department and Non-Profit supporting Regional Federally Qualified Health Centers

Acted as expert witness and strategist in Revenue Cycle Litigation efforts resulting in a favorable $500 Million dollar settlement. Provided a linkage between Inside and Outside Counsel, Business Operations and Revenue Data expertise that allowed each team to effectively bring their best efforts to the table.

Revenue Cycle Overhaul, System Implementation and Operational Strategy

Client: In-Patient Adolecent Behavioral Health Hospital.

This client hired Agatha Consulting to perform an in-depth assessment, including review of systems, processes and people, specific to their revenue cycle operations. At the end of this assessment, the client hired Agatha Consulting to implement a new Electronic Health Record and Practice Management System. We also are serving an interim leadership role accountable for the Revenue Cycle Departments.  

Scale Planning for SaaS Wellness Company

Client: Tech Well-being Startup

Agatha Consulting had the privilege of working with a Washington State FQHC on an assessment and recommendation related to the SUD In-patient treatment centers. These care centers were struggling financially, and the board and leadership team hired Agatha to lead them through a process to determine a plan of action. The recommendations were adopted, leading to a profit margin for the first time in over 5 years.

Acting as business design experts, we helped to modernize the preschool, including vision design, long term strategy and process improvement efforts.
